The Centre is a 150 acre working farm operated jointly by the Education Department and the Worgan Trust (A Cadbury Family foundation).  It is situated on the south west edge of Birmingham next to the M5 motorway and is easily reached form all parts of the City.

The farm can accommodate one junior school class per day but schools can request a whole year group allocation to meet their curriculum requirements.

The resident farmer, Mr Peter Charles, took over  Chapmans Hill Farm on 1st August 2000. He runs a 75 cow BSE free herd of pedigree Friesians and Dairy Shorthorns with calves reared on the farm for beef and milk production.

A range of other tame farm animals including sheep, pigs and chickens will be fed during a visit.
