Chapmans Hill School Farm is an educational farm and gives Foundation, Key Stage 1 and Special School children the opportunity to visit and have direct contact with farm animals and the farming environment under proper supervision.  Part of the farm is used by the tenant farmer, Mr. Charles who raises cattle on site.  Your visit is organised and delivered by Becky Lynch who is the teacher and school farm manager.  For information on planning a visit, please access ‘Teaching Sessions’ and ‘Visit Information’ above.
What’s Here?

Inside the building is the classroom, adult, children and disabled toilets and a hot and cold drinks facility. Food is not sold at the centre, but if children want to bring a snack such as fruit to have at the end of their visit then they are more than welcome.

Outside on the farm are enclosures housing the farm animals. There are farm buildings such as the straw barn and cattle shed.

The farm is surrounded by pastureland for grazing cattle, and fields that are used to grow cereals and other crops on.
